Wave is an installation presenting wave-like visuals that are formed through the oscillating movement of particles. By moving their hands users can modify different attributes of the oscillation, altering dynamically the waveform.
As the user is rising one or both hands above head, the wave amplitude gradually increases. By spreading arms wide, user can control the number of connections through moving particles, resulting to a more dense visual representation. Finally as the user s hands are stretched in front of his/hers torso, the particles move faster, speeding up the waveform.
Users can actually move their hands independently changing the same time different aspects and attributes of the oscillation.
As soon as they realize how they can affect and control the waveform, users will find themselves moving their hands like conducting a silent orchestra that draws beautiful designs.
